Updating the Hotfix

Method 1 (recommended)

1. Download the latest hotfix
2. Copy Update_hotfix_universal.bin into your mrpackages folder
3. Enter ;log mrpi in the search bar and hit enter OR in KUAL go into “Helper” then click “Install MRPackages”.

Method 2 (if MRPI doesn’t work)

1. Download the latest hotfix.
2. Enable Airplane mode.
3. Restore OTA binaries in KUAL (or whichever other method you used).
4. Copy Update_hotfix_universal.bin into your Kindle’s root directory.
5. Go into settings and in the 3 dots menu, click “Update Your Kindle”.
6. Rename OTA binaries in KUAL (or whichever other method you used)
7. Disable Airplane mode (or don’t)
